St Andrew's Dawson Street is set in the busy market town of Crook, in the beautiful countryside of Weardale in County Durham.

The church is just 100 yards from the Market Place - postcode DL15 8NH

As a Local Ecumenical Partnership, we are a congregation that is part of the West Durham Circuit of the Methodist Church, and part of the County Durham Mission Partnership of the United Reformed Church.

We look to the resources and traditions of both our churches as we seek to work out what it means for us to live as followers of Jesus today, and play our part in God's continuing mission to the world.

Through our coming together as a united church we have been given opportunities that we want to maximise. In the spring of 2009 we opened our refurbished premises, which are increasingly seen to be a valuable resource for the wider community.
